Damage to your home? We handle the repair with your insurer.
Storm, water and fire damage are stressful enough without managing a claim and a contractor at the same time. We inspect and document the damage, meet your adjuster to agree on the repair scope, and rebuild with one project manager from start to finish.
What to do first
Before anything is moved or thrown out.
Make it safe
Get people and pets out of harm’s way. Shut off water at the main if a pipe burst, and stay out of rooms with sagging ceilings or standing water near outlets.
Prevent more damage
Cover open roof areas or broken windows if you can do it safely. Your policy usually expects you to take reasonable steps to stop the damage from spreading.
Take photos before anything is moved
Photograph every affected room, the outside of the house and any damaged belongings. Date-stamped phone photos are fine.
Call your insurance company
Report the claim and write down your claim number and adjuster’s name. Then call us so we can inspect before the adjuster visits.
How we work with your insurance company
You stay in control of your claim. We make sure the damage is fully documented and the repair is done right.
Straight answers
- The claim stays between you and your insurance company. We provide documentation and repair estimates; we don’t act as your public adjuster.
- We don’t waive, cover or “eat” deductibles. Your deductible is part of your policy.
- If the damage is below your deductible, we’ll tell you, and you can decide whether to file.
Inspect and document
We walk the property, photograph and measure every affected area, and write up what needs to be repaired.
Meet your adjuster
We meet the adjuster on site, walk them through the damage and work with your insurance company on the repair scope.
Agree on the plan
You see the scope, the schedule and what the policy covers before work starts. No surprises once the walls are open.
Rebuild with one project manager
Materials ordered, crews scheduled and updates along the way, through the final walkthrough.

Insurance questions
Should I call a contractor before my adjuster visits?
Yes. When we inspect first, we can point out damage that’s easy to miss, like lifted shingles, wet insulation or smoke residue inside walls, and be there when the adjuster walks the house.
Do you work with my insurance company?
Yes. We document the damage, meet your adjuster and work with the insurer on the scope of repairs. The claim itself stays between you and your insurance company.
Can I choose my own contractor?
In most cases, yes. Your insurer may recommend contractors, but you can usually choose who repairs your home. Check your policy or ask your adjuster if you’re unsure.
What if my claim is denied or the payout seems low?
We can provide additional documentation of the damage and the repair cost. If you need someone to negotiate the claim on your behalf, that’s the role of a licensed public adjuster or an attorney.
Do you handle the whole rebuild?
Yes. Roofing, framing, drywall, flooring, cabinets, paint and finish work are handled by our crew and trade partners under one project manager.
